Icon of the Seas: A New Era in Cruising
Spanning 1,198 feet in length and capable of accommodating 7,800 passengers and 2,350 crew members, Icon of the Seas is a testament to Royal Caribbean’s commitment to innovation and family-oriented travel.
The ship boasts impressive amenities like The Hideaway with its suspended infinity pool and diverse dining options. Its maiden voyage is set for January 27, 2024, promising an unparalleled adventure for its passengers.
One of the ship’s standout features is the Surfside neighborhood, specifically designed for families with children under six. This vibrant area replaces the traditional Boardwalk on Oasis Class ships, offering an arcade, kids splash zone, aft pool, carousel, and dining venues.

Royal Caribbean Group CEO Jason Liberty highlighted the company’s culture of dreaming and innovation, noting that each new ship is a chance to improve and create the best vacation experiences.
