Virgin Voyages announced that its fourth cruise ship, Brilliant Lady, will make its grand debut in September 2025. The vessel will depart from the iconic skyline of New York City and offer five—to thirteen-night sailings to Bermuda and Canada/New England.

Brilliant Lady was slated for a late 2023 launch. However, the vessel has been delayed due to supply chain, shipyard, and staffing challenges.

Brilliant Lady promises an unparalleled experience, combining luxury with a commitment to sustainability and innovation. With a 2,770-passenger capacity, Brilliant Lady embodies the spirit of her sister ships, Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, and Resilient Lady.

Virgin’s fourth cruise ship will be nearly identical to its sister vessels but with a modified frame that allows it to sail through the Panama Canal and navigate the frigid Alaskan waters. This is the cruise line’s first cruise ship to offer Alaskan itineraries and will offer longer sailings of up to 14 nights.

Virgin Voyages started as a simple idea for me and has blossomed into the world’s top cruise line with a full fleet of ships. This ship is going to be brilliant in every possible way, and that includes the incredible new places we can travel to. After making her debut in New York, the vessel will sail to Miami in October 2025, offering Caribbean sailings through April 2026. After the Caribbean season, guests can embark on a 16-day Panama Canal crossing, where the ship makes its way to Los Angeles.

Brilliant Lady will offer five-—to eight-night cruises to Mexico before traveling north to Alaska for the Alaskan cruise season. The ship will offer Virgin Voyages’ first Alaskan cruises from May to September 2026.
