Virgin Voyages updates its cabins aboard Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady to provide a sophisticated, warmer look. The cruise line is also adding more storage following feedback from guests.

Virgin Voyages Cabins Updates
After feedback from guests, Virgin Voyages is in the process of updating all of its cabins aboard its two cruise ships, Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady. According to the cruise line, the updates are “bringing a warmer energy and more sophisticated feel” to the guest rooms.
“Building on the nautical nature of the ships, the refreshed interiors feature beautiful wooden beams and additional wood finishings along with handpicked artwork that embodies Virgin Voyages’ playful and contemporary nature, The Seabed and the incredible sea views continue to be focal points of the cabin, urging the design team to keep the nautical stripes ever present in the decorative throw pillows. Increased drawers and storage space round out refresh, perfect for Valiant Lady‘s seven-night European itineraries.”
Virgin Voyages Statement
When Virgin’s first ship Scarlet Lady launched, the vessel received outstanding reviews from initial guests. The primary complaint shared among passengers was the lack of storage space in the cabins.

While much of the cabin update is purely cosmetic, the cruise line will be adding additional storage solutions, which future passengers should welcome.
Much of the cabin look will remain, but the staterooms will feature new wooden beams and wood finishings. As seen in the renderings released by Virgin Voyages, the cabins will have plenty of wood accents, including a wood beam spanning the length of the cabin and wood decor behind the TV.

Previously, the cabins featured a minimalist aesthetic with lots of white space.
A lot of the previous cabin elements will remain. The beds will still convert from a bed to a sectional-style couch, and the high-tech ambient lighting will stay the same.
Over half of Scarlet Lady’s cabins have already been completed, with the rest due to be finished in the spring.
Valiant Lady’s cabins will finish renovations before she enters service this March.
