Room service Continental Breakfast on Disney MagicPin

A Disney cruise is a treasure trove of culinary delights, offering various dining options. The real challenge often lies in choosing where to dine.

For those who relish the peace and comfort of their cabin, Disney Cruise’s room service is totally complimentary. Whether you’re craving a snack or a full meal, there’s no delivery fee.

However, it’s worth noting a few exceptions. Certain beverages and special treats may carry an additional charge, but most of the room service menu is completely free.

Tipping isn’t mandatory, but we often give a small gratuity of $2 or $3 for the service.

Upon entering your cabin, you might not immediately spot the room service menu.

A little insider tip: check the desk’s middle drawer. That’s where you’ll usually find it, among breakfast order slips.

On embarkation day, one of my favorite things is ordering the delightful All-Hands-On-Deck Cheese Plate from the Disney Cruise Line room service menu. While I can eat at a restaurant, I prefer to take the time to unpack my luggage and prepare for the voyage.

And a little embarkation day snack goes a long way.

Breakfast

Breakfast is available for delivery in half-hour increments between 5 am and 9:30 am.

Call room service or fill out the menu in your stateroom to order the complimentary continental breakfast. You’ll usually find the menu in the desk’s middle drawer.

If you can’t find a menu or run out, ask your stateroom attendant for more.

To fill out the menu, simply check off the items you’d like to receive. Once it’s filled out, you can hand the menu on the outside handle of your cabin door no later than 3:00 am.

I don’t usually order breakfast from room service, except when I get a balcony cabin in a scenic destination, such as Alaska. There’s something magical about enjoying a warm cup of coffee on the balcony.

Breakfast items may vary by ship and itinerary. Below is a sample of Disney Cruise Line’s continental breakfast room service:

  • Juices – Orange, apple, grapefruit
  • Bread & Pastries – Fresh fruit bowl, Danish pastries, an assortment of muffins, croissants, doughnuts, white toast, whole wheat toast, English muffins, bagel
  • Condiments – Selection of jams, honey, margarine, butter, cream cheese
  • Cold Cereals – Corn Flakes, Rasin Bran, Rice Krispies, Fruit Loops, Special K, Frosted Flakes, Low-Fat Granola
    • Served with milk – Whole, skim, low-fat
  • Beverages – Low-fat milk, whole milk, skim milk, chocolate milk, regular coffee, decaffeinated coffee, a selection of teas, hot chocolate

It’s important to note that room service is unavailable the morning you debark the ship. On the last day of the cruise, room service is available until 1:30 am.

But you don’t need to worry about leaving the ship hungry.

You’ll typically be assigned breakfast at the same restaurant where you had dinner the previous night.

Room Service Secret Menu

You’ll love Disney’s secret room service menu if you’re a fan of secret menus.

Three secret items are not listed on the menu, but you can still order them.

The secret items are:

  • Cake of the Day: Each day, Disney’s room service will offer a different flavor of cake to try.
  • Uncrustables: A great snack to take on shore excursions or enjoy at the moment. It’s essentially a mini peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
  • Mickey Ice Cream Bars: Who doesn’t love a Mickey Bar? It’s one item we always order.
